Beatriz González was born in 1938 in Bucaramanga and currently lives in Bogotá, Colombia. Her work has been included in group shows at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Drawing Room, London; documenta 14, Kassel; Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt; Pérez Art Museum Miami; Tate Modern, London; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Museo de Arte del Banco de la República, Bogotá; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Museo de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires; Jerusalem International Convention Center; Phoenix Art Museum; and the Denver Art Museum.
