Did the Battle of Malibu truly occur? Maybe, maybe not. LA based artist Umar Rashid gave that question a lot of thought and decided that it would be cool if it had happened so for all intents and purposes it did. With this creative mindset in mind comes this image of the Chumash, Tongva, Gabrielino, and other LA natives actually fighting the Spanish, with the help of Black Jesus while driving a little red Corvette.
