Winner of the MSA Buyer’s Choice Award, this is not your average trivia night—it’s a fast-paced, delightfully chaotic battle of brains, bluffing, and bold art knowledge. In this fun and highly interactive game, players race to collect artwork by correctly answering trivia questions about art history. Every correct answer earns you closer to victory—exchange your Trivia Cards for Artwork Cards, and be the first to collect five masterpieces to prove, officially, that you know your stuff.
But beware: you’re not alone in the gallery. Players can deploy “Rogue Scholar” Cards to gain advantages, protect their prized artworks from being stolen, or sabotage their opponents at just the right moment. The trivia ranges from the iconic to the absurdly fun—questions might span from “What body part did Van Gogh cut off?” to “How many pet chow chows did Georgia O’Keeffe own during her lifetime?”—making every round unpredictable and entertaining.
Designed for four to six players and perfect for ages 14 and up, it’s easy to set up and endlessly replayable. Funny, irreverent, and a little bit chaotic, Rogue Art History breaks down the idea that art history is only for stuffy experts. Whether you’re a seasoned PhD or a curious high schooler just discovering the classics, everyone has a shot at glory. Play it on its own or combine it with the National Portrait Gallery set for even more art—and 96 additional trivia challenges.
Smart. Competitive. Unapologetically mischievous. Welcome to art history… with a twist.
